Akenberg is a Swedish design house with a singular aesthetic. Based in Luleå, we are set out to create accessories and sunglasses through meticulous craftsmanship, providing a new perspective on refined minimalism.

Inspired by the arctic nature and lifestyle, the ambition is to make every individual feel strong, confident and unique by offering handmade pieces that transcend trends.

Akenberg was founded by the creatives AnnKathrin Lundqvist and Jenny Olsson in 2018. Through our design we want to explore how we form our opinions, our relationships and ourselves when change is the only constant in life. By reinventing iconic shapes, our mission is to make a difference in our customers’ lives, exploring the ever-changing world.

As such, design is a constantly evolving process, and a natural part of modern life. We believe that in the light of now, the only thing that is constant is change.
